Firstly, a little about me. I've always been interested in cars and especially Japanese Performance Cars and have owned a UK spec Subaru Impreza 2000 in the past but the car I always wanted to own was a NISSAN Skyline which is what this site is all about, my R33 GTST Skyline, there are many R33 GTST Skylines ... but this one is mine.
I bought my Skyline in June 2008, at the time it was a stock 1996 QM1 white R33 GTST Skyline from a garage who imports Japanese cars. The car was in fact the owners own car and he imported it the previous year, he was selling it as he has just imported a R34 GTT for himself. He spoke about the car as if it was his pride and joy and after looking over it I decided to buy it.
After joining the skyline owners forum I began to learn a great deal about modifying Skylines and what they are capable of once modified and quickly caught the modification bug and so set about upgrading the skyline before getting it out on track, as the main reason I bought the Skyline was to use it as a track day car.
To see what's been done to the Skyline see the project build section which details all the work that has been done on the Skyline to date in the order they we're done, this section is kept up to data as the cars build progresse's. There are a few guides within this section as well which may be useful for other Skyline owners. For the full current spec list of my Skyline go to the specification section.
The Track Day section covers my experiences on track with full write up's.
